    Privacy in Vehicular Networks

    Project Description

Vehicular Communication is without a doubt an enabling technology for many safety and comfort applications to substantially change road traffic as we know it. However, this technology also poses a risk when it comes to the preservation of privacy of drivers. Permanent transmissions and data exchange could allow to track individuals throughout the network and significantly violate their location privacy. This project not only focuses on methods to prevent this kind of tracking but also on privacy preserving revocation schemes as well as further possible implications of current car2x technology.
