On behalf of the Chair of Computer Science 7 (Computer Networks and Communication Systems) at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), Dr.-Ing. Loui Al Sardy recently welcomed Ms. Rola Hseinat, Head of the Academic Exchange Programs Section at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), for an official meeting. The visit took place as part of an Erasmus+ Staff Visit program for professional development purposes.
The meeting was held at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and was dedicated to strengthening the Erasmus+ cooperation between the two universities. The focus was on academic exchange initiatives, joint research projects, and concrete measures to support current and future students at both institutions.
During the visit, both parties exchanged ideas on strategic collaboration, with a focus on enhancing cross-institutional cooperation and opening new opportunities for engagement in the areas of cybersecurity, applied computer science, and international education.
Following the meeting, participants enjoyed an informal lunch in the university cafeteria, fostering an atmosphere of hospitality and mutual respect.
