Strengthening Academic Ties with Jordan University of Science and Technology
On behalf of the Chair of Computer Science 7 (Computer Networks and Communication Systems) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Dr.-Ing. Loui Al Sardy recently welcomed Ms. Rola Hseinat, Head of the Academic Exchange Programs Section at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), for an official meeting focused on deepening cooperation between the two institutions.
Held at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, the meeting centered around potential academic exchange initiatives, joint research projects, and concrete ways to support current and future students from both universities.
During the visit, both parties exchanged ideas on strategic collaboration, with a focus on enhancing cross-institutional cooperation and opening new opportunities for engagement in the areas of cybersecurity, applied computer science, and international education.
Following the meeting, participants enjoyed an informal lunch in the university cafeteria, fostering an atmosphere of hospitality and mutual respect.
