DACH+ Conference
Participation at the 14th DACH+ Conference on Energy Informatics
Our colleagues Corinna Seiwerth and Alexander Sommer took part in this year’s 14th DACH+ Conference on Energy Informatics.
Corinna co-organized the workshop “Exploring the Energy Research Process”. The aim of the workshop was to gather feedback on a proposed research process that puts greater emphasis on documenting one’s own research, making research more transparent and reusable.
Alexander presented his paper “Adaptive Self-Improvement for Smarter Energy Systems using Agentic Policy Search”. His work explores how adaptive self-improvement can be used to control energy systems more intelligently. By applying an agent-based policy search, he investigates how control strategies can autonomously adapt to changing conditions – an important step towards more robust, efficient, and flexible energy systems.
Both contributions sparked valuable discussions and highlighted the diverse ways in which our work is advancing energy research.
