We recently attended IETF 123 in Madrid, where the global Internet community gathered to shape the future of the Internet.

A highlight was Nicolai Fischer’s presentation at the ACM ANRW, where he introduced our work on Careful Resume—a congestion control mechanism that allows connections to ramp up their data rate more quickly after migration or restart. The talk sparked interesting discussions and received encouraging feedback.

In addition, we participated in several working group sessions, including the Transport Area Working Group (TSVWG), where Nicolai also gave an update on the qlog draft. It was a great chance to contribute to ongoing discussions and collaborate with fellow protocol developers.
