From June 24 to 25, 2026, the R.A.M.S. Europe 2026 conference took place in Trondheim, Norway, bringing together researchers and industry experts in the fields of reliability, availability, maintainability, safety (RAMS), and systems engineering. The conference serves as an international platform for presenting recent advances, discussing emerging challenges, and fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
Our research associate, Mahdi Dibaei, attended the conference and presented his recent research on the reliability analysis of PROFIBUS and PROFINET communication networks for railway applications. His presentation highlighted the reliability aspects of industrial communication protocols used in train networks.
