Evaluating AI System Vulnerabilities in the Context of the Cyber Resilience Act, AI Act, and NIS2 Directive

Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are increasingly integrated into critical infrastructures, exposing them to sophisticated cyber threats. This research project evaluates AI system vulnerabilities within the regulatory frameworks of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), the EU AI Act, and the NIS2 Directive. Through comparative analysis, real-world case studies, gap identification, and research statistics, the research highlights how these regulations collectively address AI-related cybersecurity risks and where deficiencies remain. Recommendations are proposed for developers and policymakers to enhance AI security and regulatory compliance, aiming to foster a resilient AI ecosystem.
