Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften 2025
On October 25, 2025, the “Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften” toke place again. Lab of Computer Science 7 (Computer Networks and Communication Systems) has represented with exhibits from communication technology. You could experience how well a satellite conference works across different satellite networks, how time-sensitive networking (TSN) enables reliable real-time communication, and how a private 5G network can be implemented on your own small devices. Together with Siemens, we did demonstrate how roboters can communicate in new ways, and with Nokia, we have shown a digital twin for optical networks.
At the Energy Campus in Nuremberg, an interactive simulation of houses with different heating and storage systems has shown the effects on costs and emissions.
